Dinner for eight - Jerry Style

Friday night, Michelle and Mark made it from Sussex at 7:30 pm. The wine for dinner was a bottle of wine from Nate at Christmas, Chateauneuf du pape 2002 a red Rhone, and Sheryl also liked it, girls didn't, Sheryl had a glass of her white SCHMITT SÖHNE Riesling Spatlese. Rib eye steaks were had and enjoyed by all, the girls wanted to add - we ate ours with ketchup. The sinful potatoes were eaten by most, the girls passed. Corn always goes and did. Next were the fire grilled basil and garlic salt French bread. It was grilled in the afternoon and ate by all. The girls could only have more bread if they ate some fried mushrooms; they ate a small infinitesimal portion of them to get more grilled bread of grandpa's. For dessert we had pineapple angel food cake with cool whip on it, the girls ate strawberry or chocolate ice cream. It was determined that Michelle would cook breakfast Saturday for the group at 11 am. We will have scrambled eggs with cheese, shredded potatoes, bacon and Jimmy Deans sausage.

More to come, Jerry
